Driving through the Coromandel region made me sometimes think of the “Allgäu” or even the “Schwarzwald” in Germany. But there is so much diversity of shapes, designs and colours – I just love it. Palm trees, farns, pines and their differend shades of green. Then the big sky with the wonderful clouds in all kinds of blues, whites and greys. The ocean and the islands along the coast. I love it and just watching the scenery makes my heart jump.

Seeing a sheep scratch its neck at a wood pole or just watching the birds fly by is so peaceful and I feel that humankind really has to preserve all this beautiful and rich nature. Actually I almost feel bad driving through it – on the other hand I am so happy to be able to be here!

Right now I have just arrived in Rotorua and will tell more about it later on…
